TARAH SCOTT

TJS DANCE ACADEMY DIRECTOR

Tarah's professional expertise in the Performing Arts is truly remarkable. Since the age of five, she has undergone extensive training in various dance forms such as Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Hip hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and Demi Character. Her commitment to mastering these art forms is reflected in her academic accomplishments, culminating in a remarkable score of 92 in her HSC dance while completing her HSC through distance education at the Brent Street Talent Development Academy. In 2013, she expanded her skill set by obtaining her Certificate IV in full-time dance at Brent Street, and at the age of 17, she was sought after by the leading talent agency in Sydney, "Jeep Management." Displaying her versatility, Tarah is currently pursuing her Certificate in Ballet Studies at the Royal Academy of Dance, with an expected completion date in 2021.

Tarah's professional experience spans over ten years, during which she has collaborated with top choreographers in Australia. Her credits as a performer include dancing for renowned artists such as DUA LIPA, RICKY MARTIN, JESSIE J, KYLIE MINOGUE, JAMES ARTHUR, REDFOO, DANNI MINOGUE, JESSICA MAUBOY, VERA BLUE, SAMANTHA JADE, HILARY DUFF, CONRAD SEWELL, PEKING DUK, and THE INXS SHOW.

Tarah's performances have graced popular television shows including The Voice Australia, X Factor, Australia's Got Talent, SYTYCD Top 40, Dance Academy 1, 2 and 3, as well as a featured role in Season 2 of Puberty Blues as a Mello Yello Model. In addition, she has taken on principal dancer roles in music videos for James Arthur (You Deserve Better), Samantha Jade (Sweet Talk), Redfoo (Let's Get Ridiculous), and Carmada (On Fire), and has showcased her talent at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on two occasions.
